Projects - OIL & GAS - AGT Antwerp Gas Terminal
Antwerp Gas Terminal is a syorage and transport facility in the harbour of Antwerp. Gas is stoed from sea ships and barges and supplied from/to pipelines in pressurized spheres. The terminal has beside connections to the vast Antwerp harbour pipeline grid also a network of own pipelines. They store propane, propylene and ethylene.

AGT's eight 3,300 cubic metre, pressurised spheres store various gases for their customers. Dedicated, state-of-the-art process control systems ensure flexible and accurate monitoring of all our terminal operations and logistic services. Under normal operating conditions, we store:
◦ Propane (odourised).
◦ Refinery, Chemical, and Polymer Grade Propylene.
The site has 2 jetties for ships and a barge jetty. AGT is inter-linked with an extensive network of pipeline systems connecting customers to their feed stock supplies. There are more than fifty pipelines within the port area for the transfer of chemicals, liquids, and gases. AGT not only provides direct connections to plants within the port, but also to major plants throughout the Benelux and Germany.
AGT has currently eight dedicated pipelines that supply liquid gas directly to customers. |
